Sanders Group

Sanders Group is one of Europe’s leading international manufacturers and distributers of flexible magnetic materials. These magnetic solutions are widely used in visual display, logistics, office, school, and sign supplies markets.

 

As a part of the supply chain & management specialisation of my study programme, I had to conduct an organisational scan of Sanders Group. I did this by interviewing various stakeholders, as well as conduct online research and researching existing data sources. As an addition to this research, I was also creating LinkedIn content to increase online visibility.

 

At the end of this mini-internship, I was offered a job to continue with the LinkedIn content. I now come up with content concepts, such as the short Christmas movie, meet the team, the international beer day video and the QR code store sticker video. In addition, I also create email content.

Product content

A part of the LinkedIn strategy is to create product content so (potential) users of our products are aware what it can be used for and what the benefit of it is. The goal is to show how diverse our products are within the various target markets and to provide a clear picture of its possibilities. This is also combined with researched statistics.

Example 1 shows the concept I came up with to create the logo of our neighbouring company "Van Hoorn Buigtechniek", to gift to them on neighbour day.

Example 2 shows the benefits of signage. Besides the used statistics, I incorporated our own products, to show how signage can be used.

Company updates

Each week we also post a company update. This could be a collaboration with a school/university, a new colleague, past events, employee of the month or a meet the team post.

​

Meet the team was created to introduce our colleagues, so (potential) clients can get to know the faces behind Sanders Group. It also reflects our company culture, of which we are very proud.

Informative content

It is key to make the (potential) user understand how they can use our products, why it is beneficial and also to give extra tips. For example how to make your wall magnetic before getting magnetic prints to add on the walls or why to use QR codes on your window display.

Video content

Besides content in PDF and PNG format, video content is also created.

An example is given of our Christmas video, where my idea was to make gifts out of our XPS material and present in a fun way as Christmas gifts. This shows our products in a more entertaining format.

Email

For urgent company updates or products we wish to get under the attention of our customers, I also create emails.

Results

We have an average engagement rate of 29.3% in the last 30 days as well as increased search appearance with 41%.
